Sage Health Systems was founded in late 2015 after its founder Louis Ellis wondered why his mother’s home companion care agency depended so heavily on caregiver task sheets and infrequent calls from loved ones. He wondered, isn’t there a better way to streamline the caregiving process, reduce the time it takes to process the paperwork, and increase the level of communication between the agency and loved ones. Coming from a family with over three decades of home care experience and his Computer Science Engineering degree from Tufts University, Louis was determined to redefine the caregiving experience.
