Open Arms Personal Care was founded by two registered nurses, Doreen Larkin and Georgia Freeman. What started as an idea, has grown into a reality. As nurses, the founders saw the need to assist the elderly in remaining in the community and living productive lives with some assistance. One of the founders became ill as a younger person and was unable to function the same as when they had better health. As their health improved, they realized how great a need there was for someone to assist with simple activities of daily living. Open Arms Person Care Inc. was born from that experience. The owners take pride in making sure they meet with every client to share their stories with their commitment to delivering exceptional care.
