This is a special time with special needs. Often there is the feeling of having nowhere to turn. Hospice understands the emotions surrounding a life-threatening illness and can help put them in perspective.
Meeting the needs of the patient and family is a top priority at Hospice of Lake Cumberland. The entire family unit: patient, family and caregiver, is an essential part of hospice care and the decision making process. Family and/or caregiver(s) are taught skills to care for the patient in the home.
