Durable Assistance & Consulting, LLC (DA&C) is a company that provides a path for consumers to age-in-place as an alternative to long-term care in a facility. Through an innovative virtual or optional in-person Home for Life Design® assessment, consumers are presented with paths to stay in their home as they age that is financially preferable to the rising cost of care provided in a long-term care facility.
The owner of DA&C brings to the market 25 years in the social work profession, providing case management and other services to clients in all age groups. With a specialization in geriatrics, she is well-positioned to understand the challenges faced by adults as they age. The business model will incorporate the Home for Life Design® assessment, dietary and nutritional services, advance directives, advocacy, resource, and referrals, along with products designed to assist adults to age in place with dignity, independence, and improved quality of life.
