Founded in 1995, The Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Donations and services stay in Brevard County, serve local residents and are fully tax-deductible. With an annual operating budget of $3.5 million dollars and over 70 employees the Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation served over 2,300 families last year.
The Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation has three state of the art facilities in Titusville (North Brevard), Melbourne (Central Brevard) and Micco (South Brevard). All facilities operate Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Additionally, our offering includes: Long-Term Managed Care (LTMC) Case Management, Facility and Non-emergency Transportation, In-Home Respite, Alzheimer’s/Dementia Training and Education, and Caregiver Support Groups. The organization also conducts fundraising to offset the cost of scholarships offered for its services; however, fundraising accounts for less than 10% of the budget..
