Who We Serve & Our Team
We assist individuals with developmental disabilities, including behavioral, intellectual, and autism spectrum challenges. Serving Alameda, Contra Costa, San Joaquin, and Sacramento Counties, we work with clients aged 18-69 through referrals from the Department of Rehabilitation, Social Services, and State Regional Centers. Our dedicated staff collaborates with medical, legal, and behavioral specialists to provide comprehensive, goal-driven support.
Leadership & History
Founded by James O. Thompson, BIM evolved from his experience running residential care facilities. With Jamelle Wallace as General Manager, the organization employs 30+ staff members, serving clients from the Bay Area to Sacramento.
