Pioneer Hospice is a family-owned and operated agency based in Orange, New Jersey. It is a subsidiary of Pioneer Home Care, founded in 1995 in the Bronx, New York, by husband-and-wife team Patrick and Patience. Combining their backgrounds in nursing and business, they built the company on a shared belief: that quality care is a basic right, and a patient’s preferences—whether for alternative methods or settings of care—should always be respected. This founding vision, along with a deep love for people and the communities they serve, continues to guide Pioneer Hospice today.
