Visiting Angels’ caregivers & companions are skilled in dealing with the daily demands of patients living with Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s diseases, as well as other chronic illnesses. Our “angels” assist with bathing, grooming & dressing, walking & transferring, toileting, transportation to doctor’s appointments & medication reminders, cooking, shopping, & light housekeeping.
Visiting Angels cares for patients at risk for falls, requiring supervision & follow up after complex surgery, or who are in need of friendly companionship & additional in-facility/in-home services to improve quality of life & reduce hospital re-admissions.
Visiting Angels’ compassionate CNAs, HHAs, caregivers & companions provide a personalized care plan so that patients thrive, not just survive. We encourage our clients to interview our professionals for a good fit before the start of care. Each Visiting Angels caregiver or companion is interviewed & given a skills assessment by our Director of Nursing. In addition, each is subject to a rigorous criminal background check & professional reference check that goes beyond the state’s Level 2 screening. Visiting Angels’ staff is covered by professional liability insurance & bonding.
